Stress
In this eleven minute video Dr. Mike Evans gives a visual lecture on the single most important thing we can do to manage stress. Several scientific studies are examined in the search for the answer. Some studies suggest that Cognitive Behavior Therapy is the best tool for changing our thinking. Other studies point out the importance of attitude for stress. The 90-10 rule is examined as follows. 10% of a problem is what happens to us and 90% is how we react to it. After examining the current literature, Dr. Evans concludes that changing our thinking style is the single most important thing that we can do for stress.

Overview of Emotional Freedom Technique
The Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT, is a psychotherapy technique
that involves tapping of the fingers referred to as EFT tapping. The EFT
technique is based on alternative energy healing techniques such as
acupuncture. It also incorporates a psychological element to have a more
holistic perspective about body-mind energy balance.
What is EFT tapping?
According to the Emotional Freedom Technique by Gary Craig, there are energy meridians on the body that can be activated for enhanced energy flow and clear negative energy processes. The EFT tapping process involves the following three steps.
1) The first step involves rating identifying key emotional problems and sources of mental distress.
2) These issues are rated on a scale of 1 to 10 depending on their intensity.
3) After this, one begins tapping on specific energy points while focusing on positive thoughts.
This not only helps in facilitating greater self-acceptance and emotional stability, but also promotes physical well-being.
EFT is a simple spiritual healing practice that is backed by centuries old medical knowledge as well as modern research.
